The NDr Shooting Supplies dB-Cone (Universal) is a muzzle device designed to reduce the fatigue and headaches often caused by prolonged exposure to muzzle brake blast during long days of shooting, while having minimal to no impact on muzzle brake performance.
During matches and competitions, reduced blast exposure helps shooters stay comfortable, maintain focus, and perform consistently from start to finish.
The dB-Cone blocks the direct line of sight between the muzzle brake ports and the shooter's head. Instead of traveling directly toward the shooter, the muzzle brake's shock wave is forced to wrap around the dB-Cone. This dissipates a significant amount of the shock wave's energy, reducing the overpressure (the sudden increase in air pressure) experienced at the shooter's position.
For most muzzle brake (port angle more than 45 degrees from the shooter), the muzzle brake performance is unaffected. For muzzle brake with a port angle less than 45 degrees, only the airflow from the first port interacts with the dB-Cone; therefore, the muzzle brake retains nearly all of its effectiveness.
Compatibility:
- Any muzzle brake up to 1.25'' OD
- Barrel threads: 5/8x24 or 3/4x24

- The dB-Cone (Universal) will use 0.204'' (5.18mm) of the barrel muzzle threads. It is recommended to have a miminim 0.6'' of muzzle threads to use the dB-Cone.

Note: We recommend applying a small amount of grease / lubricant / anti-seize to the muzzle brake threads in order to reduce friction, and ensure smooth threading.
